Yoga
At its most basic level, Yoga means “connecting”. In yoga, the most basic
connections are made between movement (posture, asanas), awareness
(mindfulness, concentration, consciousness) and breathing. Yoga is the
practice of bringing these three elements together in any activity in which
you engage. All of our classes are designed to support the development of
your yoga practice both on and off the mat. This means using yoga as a
vehicle to support your physical, psychological and spiritual development
and well-being. Green Tea Yoga offers yoga for people at different of
levels and interests. Click here to view a description of our yoga classes.
Therapeutic Massage
Maintaining bodily health provides the foundation for living a full life. If
you are in physical pain, experience stress in your life, or simply seek a
private oasis to reinvigorate yourself, bodywork can help. We provide
massage and bodywork to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and achieve
relaxation. Many clients are referred by their physicians for bodywork to
supplement medical treatment. Click here to read about the types of
bodywork we offer. We also host a weekly Reiki clinic on Monday
evenings at the studio, by donation.
Personal Growth and Development
At Green Tea Yoga, we work to support the development of our clients as
whole persons. While a genuine yoga practice can help you achieve a sense
of physical and psychological centering in your life, many of us seek ways
to continue to develop all parts of our selves. For this reason, we provide
a series of personal growth and development workshops as well as life
coaching in a variety of areas. Click here to view our list of upcoming
workshops and events. Click here to learn more about what personal life
coaching can do for you.

Welcome!
When we purchased the Prana Health and Yoga Center from Shay and Charles Cooper in November of
2008, we did more than buy a business. We inherited a legacy. Shay and Charles started Prana in 1990,
and for 18 years they provided yoga and healing massage to hundreds of people on the North Shore.
We think of yoga as a big buffet. You can as much of this or that as you like and leave the rest, or sample
some of everything. The practice of yoga for some people is purely physical, and that's great. For other
people it's more than that; a fusion of body, mind and spirit, including chanting, meditation, mudras, and
ceasing the madness of the mind. Whatever yoga is for you, we have set out a glorious buffet at Green
Tea for you to take a taste of all the practice has to offer.
We believe that yoga is for everyone. We welcome the tiniest yogis to our baby and me classes, all the
way up to age (?) in our gentle, moderate and vigorous adult classes.
Our mission is simple. To share the healing gifts of yoga and massage with as many people as possible,
and to help create a more peaceful and healthy community through and with these people.
Namaste,
Alicia Diozzi and Michael Mascolo
