  • A supportive, affirming experience to help you prepare for labor and motherhood. Practicing yoga in
    pregnancy helps to strengthen and stretch muscles, release tension, reduce back pain, and maintain good
    posture.   Live more comfortably and more easily in your miraculous, changing body.  

  • This class is for women at any stage of pregnancy with or without prior yoga experience.  A doctor or
    midwife’s written permission is required.  

  • Flexibility, circulation and balance will improve.   Emphasis is on connecting with the joy of nurturing yourself
    and your growing baby.

  • Each class ends in guided relaxation to deepen the release of tension and fatigue. With practice, all these
    elements help you to move gracefully through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period with greater
    energy, freedom, and comfort.

  • Meet other expectant moms--we have a Facebook group, Green Tea Yoga Mamas, so that our moms can keep
    in touch, share resources, and post baby pics!  A search on Facebook will get you there.

Our Prenatal Yoga program conforms to the safety guidelines of the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists (ACOG) for exercise during and after pregnancy.

Schedule/Classes
Prenatal Yoga with Alicia is ongoing on Thursdays (7:30-8:45)

Classes are offered every Thursday evening. Join anytime.

Prenatal Yoga Policies
A doctor's or midwife's note of permission to practice prenatal yoga is required.  You must submit this before
your first prenatal class here.  Just call your practitioner and they will mail this to you.

Students fill out a registration form and waiver of liability on their first visit.

Prenatal class cards do not expire.  Use your classes when you can, but we highly recommend trying to come
weekly for maximum benefits.  If you have leftover classes after you've had your baby, we can offer you regular

or Mommy and Baby
yoga classes in exchange for the prenatal classes.  Use those classes when you are up to it
after baby comes.  
Our Mommy and Baby class is for babies six weeks to 10 months, or pre-crawling.

A class card makes the perfect gift for an expectant mom, too.

Getting close to your due date?  You can
drop in to prenatal classes for $20 per class.
