Marsha Therese,  Founder of Color Me Yoga®
Dance Instructor, Healing the Luminous Body Practitioner
Marsha Therese is a yogi’s yogi. She has been practicing yoga and dance both
on and off the mat since she was a very young girl. Marsha is a dancer to the
core. She considers dance a vital part of her yoga practice. Her Joy-Filled
Spirit has been a life-saving force in her physical healing, her intuitive
teaching, her work as a healer in the beauty way, and her everyday existence.
Unique to Marsha’s teaching is the notion of Possibility. A below knee amputee due to childhood cancer, she is a
testament to the innate wisdom, resilience and creativity inherent in all children. Color Me Yoga™  is her personal
dream to reach as many children as possible throughout the world with the simple gift of breath, joy in the body,
safety in the soul, kindness in the essence of each human being. She practices an embodied sense of spirit, trusting
that above all else, the body is the messenger. We are the students. Her teaching style is warm, funny, full of love and
a deep sense of reverence for each soul that enters her classroom.

Who Should Take Color Me Yoga Teacher Training?

School teachers, day care providers, home school parents,
nursery school teachers, occupational therapists, yoga instructors,
dance instructors,  massage therapists -- anyone who wants to
begin the rewarding career or second career of bringing the gift
of yoga to children.

Once I have completed my training, where can I teach yoga for
children and do people really get paid to have all this fun?

Color Me Yoga
offers a marketing piece as part of the 200-hour
training.  We will discuss ways to bring your yoga classes to day
care centers, community centers, yoga studios, YMCA’s, churches,
schools, birthday parties, and anyplace that children happen to
be.  We have suggestions for free and low cost advertising to get
the word out about your program.  You can expect to be paid
anywhere from $20 per class to $100 per class or more.
