Moving Into the Yin Season with Maggie!Sunday, October 9th from 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
This Workshop will ease you gently into the season of yin. Yin energy represents the moon, feminine energy, darkenss, coolness, intuition, and compassion. We need yin in order to balance out the yang. In this all levels workshop, we will move the body in a slow flow vinyasa for 30 minutes followed by a restorative yin practice full of a variety of poses to open the body. Yin poses target the denser, deeper, more plastic/less elastic tissues, such as ligaments, joint capsule, cartilage, bones, and fascial networks of the body. Light touch, Reiki and massage will be given to individuals during the yin practice if the individual is okay with hands on touch. We will follow our asana practice with a short journaling experience and provide a longer sevasana utlizing the crystal singing bowls to tune our chakras. This is an experience you do NOT want to miss.
